Oversaw the transition of DeAM's GDH (global data hub) development programme from New York to London. This included porting interfaces to a number of downstream applications needing data from all DeAM regional centres, such as Sungard's Xamin Performance system and the in-house Business Risk application.

Carl also established a Global Reference Data Repository based around Bloomberg's Back Office data licence product. Carl worked closely with Wlpro Technologies of Bangalore to establish an Offshore Data Centre to build and maintain the GDH hub architecture and applications.
